If you've been looking for physical, mental, spiritual, or societal healing, here's an interesting question... what does health look like to you? For me... I'm gonna have to agree with the ancients and say balance!
Health is balance.
My organs and tissues and various parts in balance both individually and as a whole. My mental and emotional space at peace. My soul and my connection with God and the spiritual world steady. Society and the people of our community both big and small, in harmony.
(No wonder I have so many Libra placements...)
Whether it’s physical, mental, or spiritual pain you’re going through, it’s important to know what a balanced state looks like, and how to get back into balance within yourself and the world. Back to a state where life feels good; where you're grateful to be alive every single day, instead of dreading waking up in the morning.
In my last episode, we talked about how Traditional Western Medicine was rooted in the understanding of how we as humans wholly relate and respond to the environment around us, as well as how we function to ensure health and well-being.
To know what a healthy, balanced state looks like, Traditional Western Medicine begins with the study of the Seven Natural Things. These Seven Natural Things provide the basic principles of the nature of human beings.
When all Seven Natural Things are balanced and working together harmoniously, we’re healthy and thriving; when they're imbalanced and not working together properly, we’re diseased and sick; and when one of them cease to function, we die.
In a physical, mental, and spiritual sense, it seems we as a society are collectively imbalanced and not working together properly, hence the rampant sickness, disease, and destruction.
Who's ready to get back into a state of balance?
